"For Overgrowing, I hosted a weekly gathering from May through September. I cooked, and after the meal, everyone drew. The result was a mixture of concentration and casualness. I gradually developed the idea of allowing the casual to escalate until it was no longer casual, but rather the central point of the work." HK
